The Mission of the Helena Fire Department is to serve the citizens and businesses of the City of Helena by protecting life, property, and the environment from the hazards and dangers of fires, medical emergencies, and disasters through fire prevention, public education, and rapid response to calls of assistance.
Helena Fire Department proudly protects 12,500 people living in an area of 17.1 square miles. Our department is a combination of paid and volunteer status. At the present time we have 12 paid and 12 volunteers. We have drill every Tuesday night that consists of Fire or EMS training for all department firefighter's.
We have an ISO rating of 5 and are members of the organizations
